Psyonix announced that the teams of the sixth season of the Rocket League Championship Series will play a total prize pool of one million dollars. This is twice as much as the fifth season, which took place in February.

The developers have not yet reported how exactly the teams will divide a million dollars among themselves. It is known that Psyonix is ​​going to hold a regular season for teams from the USA and Europe, and teams from Oceania will compete for access to the LAN finals (September 8 and 9) at the OCE Championship.

The second amateur RLCS division, called Rival, also boasts a doubled prize pool of $ 100,000. The qualification stages will be held from August 11 to 26, and the LAN finals – September 14. Registration for the Rival division will last until August 6th.
