Cross-platform squads will appear in the Rocket League this summer

Studio Psyonix Studios this summer will finally allow Rocket League players to collect squads of friends from the owners of different platforms.

There are several standard modes: regular match, training and season, where the player participates in the tournament together with partners under the control of artificial intelligence. But the basis of everything is, of course, the multi-user component, and it justifies itself one hundred percent, since local online works almost perfectly.

Connection problems are extremely rare, even when playing with overseas comrades. It’s easy to assemble a party of friends – this is done right in the main menu, and rivals from around the world can sometimes be found in seconds. If the search is delayed, then the waiting players do not languish in the stuffy lobby, but can pass the time in free training mode. For each match held, experience points are awarded that not only increase the player’s rank, but also open up new types of cars, as well as various tuning elements, such as new tires, paints, jewelry and even nitro exhaust types, where you can put fire instead and sparks even soap bubbles. Unfortunately (or fortunately), everything is limited only by the appearance and there is no question of any advanced settings that affect the gameplay.
